On January 31, 2007, the students and faculty
in the Missouri London program visited the Tate
(now usually called "Tate Britain" after the opening
of the Tate Museum of Modern Art up the river a bit).
A strike had closed down most of the museum:

Tour guides were unhappy. Students waited patiently.

In the afternoon, my Shakespeare class visited the reconstructed Globe Theatre.
I walked over the Millennium Foot Bridge to get there. The first shot is backwards, featuring St. Paul's Cathedral.

American impresario Sam Wannamaker was the driving force behind the Globe's reconstruction a few years ago:



This other group of tourists listened to a few of us declaiming from the stage.
